I had written Show Yourself Strong at a Middle School Retreat, when at the time, my heart was getting discouraged about what was happening in the earth and my hope was very much deferred. The Lord spoke to me and reminded me that I was not the “hero” of this story and that i was not going to be able to change much. It was from that place of helplessness i began to ask Him to “Show Himself Strong” all over the world. Oh that HE would do the work and rise up on behalf of His people. It is only by His doing and coming can anything take place.
